Rivers Schools Urged to Check 2026 BECE Results as Correction Window Opens

Schools in Rivers State are being urged to check their students’ 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results and report any complaints or discrepancies while the correction window is still open.

According to information from the Examinations and Records Department of the Rivers State Ministry of Education, schools have a limited window to review the results and submit any necessary corrections. The correction window is reportedly open for TWO WEEKS, so schools are encouraged to act promptly rather than wait until the deadline.

The Rivers State Ministry of Education had earlier announced that the 2026 BECE results are available to public and private schools through the Rivers State Education Management Information System (RIVEMIS).

Schools are therefore advised to:

✅ Check the 2026 BECE results for their students.

✅ Carefully review the results for any errors or discrepancies.

✅ Report any complaints requiring correction while the correction window remains open.

✅ Ensure that all necessary issues are addressed before the window closes.

Don't wait until the correction period expires.
